Information for Auditors
HerdPlan is intended to make it easy to keep traceable, reliable records of health planning activities on Farm.
There are some core ways to export information for external review, or places where information can be found.
General farm information
Farm Status
HerdPlan leverages an internal audit trail to track the status of a given Farm's HealthPlan, ensuring that it is not only straightforward to understand current state at a glance, but also make it easy to understand what actions may be required to be compliant.
The Farm View (if a Vet) or Farm Dashboard (if a Farmer) includes the Farm Status tool.
The Farm Status tool shows a breakdown of overall compliance across core activities (i.e. Farm details, vet review, etc.) with further details as to the status of each section available. 
Integrated tooltips are available to help highlight deficiencies.
As the Farm and Practice teams plan and execute the health plan the status updates accordingly.
Farm Policies and Documents
Farm policies and documents which are added to modules are all available in the Farm Library and can be downloaded. If revised versions of documents are uploaded, then original copies can be obtained from the library.
Alternatively, documents can be accessed through the policies and documents area in "My Farm".
Farm Team Competencies
Farms can record specific competencies for staff, including upload and storage of certificates or other evidence of training. Expiry dates can also be set on evidential items to help support ongoing maintenance of training records.
These can be viewed through the team competencies area (accessed via "My Team"). In this area temporary staff working on the farm (for example helping with lambing and calving) can be added.
Performance and Routine Treatment data
Farmers and Vets can record performance metrics and routine treatment records outwith the Health Plan if they wish. These records can be readily exported to PDF for review.
Routine treatment records can be accessed under the "My Farm" area.
Health Plan Information
Health plan summary
A PDF summary of the overall Health Plan, it's targets, actions, livestock etc. can be generated on demand by Farm Staff in a single click. This provides a useful snapshot of the current state of the Health Plan on Farm.
Vets can review and approve a Health Plan, and provide recommendations if required. This 'Signed' copy of the approved Health Plan is stored in the Farm Library and can be downloaded for review.
Modules Workflow and records
Most core workflows in HerdPlan are organised around modules, which can cover:
Production Planning
Infectious Diseases
Focus Areas
All workflow processes such as Team Catch-ups or Health Plan modules have audit events, a summary of lifecycle events is available as a timeline for each module.
We also maintain historic records of all module data, although this is not available to end users.
Vet Records
Vet's can record various auditable activities, such as Site Visits, Medicine Review etc.
These can be viewed in the Vet Area as either a vet or farmer, but are also shown on the overall farm status.
Complementary documents to support vet records (i.e. antibiotic data, etc.) will be uploaded and stored in the Farm library during implementation of the health plan and can be found there after the fact.
